Last year, I went with my friends in Sagada, Mountain Province. I had always wanted to go there since I was in College. And I am happy that it was the first place I was able to go to since I graduated and had the freedom to go traveling.

Sagada is a twelve-hour ride from manila. Six hours, manila to Baguio and then another six hours from Baguio to Sagada. It was a very long travel time with a lot of zigzagging roads. But I enjoyed half of it because all I saw were green trees, rice terraces and mountains. Half I spent on sleeping though. My friends were so amazed I could sleep while we were traveling in that kind of road.
After the long journey, we finally arrived in Sagada. We stayed here.
Since we were all tired, we decided to just get the feel of Sagada, the shops and the food for that day.
Home of strawberry yogurt that I fell in love with.
delicious food here. A little pricey though.
We began our real Sagada adventure the second day. We woke up by four am to go to Kiltepan peak to watch the sunrise.
Unfortunately, it was cloudy that day, so we were not able to see the sunrise. :( We went back to our lodging house after that to eat breakfast before we began our journey around Sagada.
The church in Sagada
The Cemetery on top of the mountain. Instead of lighting candles on all soul's day, they burn red wood for their departed.
The Echo valley. We were a little shy to shout at first. hehe
The Hanging Coffins.
One of my favorites. Bontok Falls
Then, we went caving!

It was a very tiring activity. but very satisfying. :) I certainly will go back to Sagada.
